Liminal Space Basketball
Liminal Space Basketball is a relaxing basketball playground set in a liminal space.

The player controls a first-person character and interacts with the ball using the mouse.
Scoring is intentionally difficult. To shoot, you have to grab the ball by holding the mouse button, dash the mouse, and release it with perfect timing.
There’s no aim assist or any other kind of help, and that’s exactly the experience I wanted to create.
I developed this small concept in just a few days to experiment with interactive gameplay objects.
Along the way, I also built a small reusable interaction library that I’ll be using in future projects. Things like clicking to interact, highlighting objects on hover, and similar interactions are covered.
Even though it was just a prototype, I wanted to deliver a polished experience. For that reason, I spent part of the development time adding sound effects and ambient background audio.

Give it a try!
It’s playable directly in your browser.
